The Sims 2

Below is a gallery of some of the Sims who appeared in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima series and My Sims 2 Player Stories.

It shows what each of them look like in StrangeTown Monty, what they look like in My Player Stories, and how they are similar or different from their default appearances.

Sims from The Sims 2 base game

Bianca Monty

Picture: Model: Information:
Bianca Monty's default appearance in The Sims 2 Bianca Monty's default appearance.
Bianca Monty's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Bianca's overall appearance in my player stories is identical to the default. She has, however made a few appearances in my player stories sporting the 'Acorn Tuck' hairstyle, instead of her default 'Centre Part' one. In one of the storytelling images I took, I had Bianca wear the same clothes as her STM counterpart. The image displayed here is slightly lighter than the default.
Bianca Monty's secondary appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Bianca's overall appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But in some of her appearances, she sports the 'Acorn Tuck' hairstyle, instead of her default 'Centre Part' one. Since the two hairstyles are very similar in appearance, I liked how I could make Bianca have this hairstyle in specific screenshots, and make it seem like I hadn't made any changes to her appearance, without close observation obviously.
Bianca Monty's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series Bianca's original STM appearance was the same as the default, but with default replacement skins and eyes. Her gym clothes have also changed to some pale blue ones that were introduced in the University expansion pack. In STM 1.10 onwards, Bianca's clothes changed from a black sweater and pants, to a blue sweater and jeans. This colour change was likely done to reflect the watcher's favourite colour. STM Bianca also has the Knowledge Aspiration, instead of the Family Aspiration.

Kent Capp

Picture: Model: Information:
Kent Capp's default appearance in The Sims 2 Kent Capp's default appearance.
Kent Capp's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories It's basically the same as the default, but now he has a full head of hair, instead of being bald. AldoHyde's STM Kent's appearance as a child in STM 1.09 inspired me to use this hairstyle for Kent in my player stories. All Sims ought to have hair. I didn't know of course that AldoHyde would also use this hairstyle for his STM makeover for Kent in 1.11. The sim/object and texture detail in this image is set to high, while the sim/object and texture detail in the default is set to low.
Kent Capp's appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series (1.11 - 2.03) STM Kent has a full head of hair, thick stubble, and a blue shirt and black trousers, which were introduced in the Open for Business expansion pack. Like all STM Sims, STM Kent uses default replacement skins and eyes. His overall appearance in STM, prior to 1.11 was the same as the default, minus the replacement skins and eyes.
Kent Capp's Fringe Observer in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series Kent's appearance in AldoHyde's video 'Sims 2 Pleasantview, Strangetown & Veronaville' depicts him as bald and browless, with a black uniform and a striped tie.
Kent Capp's Appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series (2.04 - Present) STM Kent's appearance in 2.04 onwards is exactly the same as the appearance he had from 1.11 to 2.03, but now he has a light beard in addition to thick stubble.

This version is based on STM Kent's appearance from 1.11 to 2.03, with the thick stubble.

This version is based on STM Kent's appearance in 2.04 onwards, with the light beard in addition to thick stubble.

Antonio Monty

Picture: Model: Information:
Antonio Monty's default appearance in The Sims 2 Antonio Monty's default appearance.
Antonio Monty's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Antonio's appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But the sim/object and texture detail of the image is set to high, while the sim/object and texture detail of the default image is set to low. Antonio's official appearance in my player stories depicts him to wear the same silver body fancy suit as the default, but in the last two images he appears in, he wears the grey-black body evening blazer from Nightlife.
Antonio Monty's secondary appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Antonio's overall appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But in some of his later appearances, he wears the grey-black body evening blazer from Nightlife instead of the silver body fancy suit. I considered making the grey-black body evening blazer his main outfit, but decided to make it his secondary outfit, since it lacked the red vest which was in my opinion one of the things that defined his fashion sense.
Antonio Monty's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Antonio's original appearance was the same as the default but with default replacement skins and eyes. In 2.03 onwards, Antonio wears a red shirt and white pants from Bon Voyage, and thick stubble. STM Antonio also has the Family Aspiration, instead of the Knowledge Aspiration.

Olive Specter

Picture: Model: Information:
Olive Specter's default appearance in The Sims 2 Olive Specter's default appearance.
Olive Specter's appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series It's basically the same as the default version, but with default replacement skins and eyes.
Olive Specter's appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories It's basically the same as the default version, but with combed eyebrows. The default portrait's sim/object detail is set to low, whereas this portrait's sim/object detail is set to high. Because of this, Olive may appear to look older in this image than in the default. She is also a Virgo in my game, instead of a Scorpio, and she has maximum level in body points.

Nervous Subject

Picture: Model: Information:
Nervous Subject's prototype in The Sims 2 Nervous Subject's prototype. Note that in one of the Sims 2 trailers, he has the teenage male voice provided by Jack Conte, instead of one of the adult male voices provided by Stephen Kearin, which the playable Nervous has. However if his prototype is resurrected with hacks, he will also be voiced by Stephen Kearin.
Nervous Subject's default appearance in The Sims 2 Nervous' playable counterpart greatly resembles his hidden prototype, but with quite a different facial structure. The ears, eyes, and nose are larger, the jaw, chin and neck are thinner. The eyebrows, nose, and mouth are lower, and the eyebrows are straighter.
Nervous Subject (hidden)'s appearance as a downloadable replica A downloadable clone of the prototype Nervous. Not that this replica is not exact. Differences from the true prototype Nervous include larger ears, eyes and nose, a wider jaw, and lower eyes, nose and mouth. Comparing this downloadable clone to the playable Nervous indicates that this downloadable clone was edited using the facial structure of the playable Nervous as a starting point.
Nick Grimm's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Nervous' appearance in episodes 1.03, 1.05, 1.06 and 1.07 are the same as the playable default, but with default replacement skins and eyes. In 1.09 onwards, Nervous (or as he as known in 1.06, and 1.08 onwards, 'Nick Grimm') wears a purple jersey, and pale grey trousers, which were introduced in the Open for Business expansion pack, and the fauxhawk hairstyle introduced in University. In 2.08 Nick wears an aqua jersey which is otherwise identical to the purple one, and beige trousers which are in the same style as the pale grey ones.
Nerville Specter's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Nervous' original appearance in my player stories was the same as the default, until I discovered the side swoop hairstyle from Nightlife. Nervous Subject (now renamed Nerville Specter)'s genetic personality has also been restored. As a result, he is depicted as neat and tidy, as opposed to being a slob. Unfortunately because his excessive grouchiness has somewhat decreased, he is able to focus more on initiating cruel interactions on other Sims. Nerville wears the same purple jersey and pale grey trousers that he wears in STM in one of my storytelling images, and the aqua jersey with beige trousers in another. In another image, he wears a brown sweatshirt and pale green trousers which is identical to the two outfits he wore in STM minus the difference in colour. Nerville is a Virgo in my player stories instead of an Aquarius.
My replica of STM Nick Grimm My replica of STM Nick Grimm which looks identical to the version from AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series, but without the default replacement skins and eyes.

Ophelia Nigmos

Picture: Model: Information:
Ophelia Nigmos' default appearance in The Sims 2 Ophelia Nigmos' default appearance.
Ophelia Specter's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Ophelia's appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But the sim/object detail of the image is set to high, while the sim/object detail of the default image is set to low. Ophelia is no longer shown to be a worrywart, instead focussing strictly on her good natured and mature side. She is a Cancer in my player stories instead of a Virgo. She wears the same outfit in all her appearances in my player stories so far, except she wears a slightly different coloured outfit but in the same style in one of the images she appears in.
Ophelia Nigmos' appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Ophelia's appearance is the same as the default, but with default replacement skins and eyes.
Ophelia Specter's appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories as a Young adult Even though Ophelia is a teenager in all of her appearances in my player stories, I aged her into an adult once my player stories had been concluded. This headshot displays Ophelia as a young adult with a custom content conversion of her teenage punk outfit converted for young adults and adults. The said conversion can be downloaded here.

Vidcund Curious

Picture: Model: Information:
Vidcund Curious' default appearance in The Sims 2 Vidcund Curious' default appearance.
Vidcund Curious' appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Vidcund has a different longer hairstyle, green rounded rectangular spectacles, a different outfit, and default replacement skins and eyes. Vidcund also does in-fact wear these glasses in one of the default storytelling images of the Curious family. STM Vidcund is also more confident and less shy than his default counterpart.
Vidcund Curious' overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Vidcund's appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But the sim/object detail of the image is set to high, while the sim/object detail of the default image is set to low. In some of my storytelling images, Vidcund's appearance is the same as STM Vidcund but with the default skins and eyes. One of the images also depict him in his default outfit, when he was technically supposed to wear the same outfit as in STM. Vidcund is more confident and less shy in my player stories than his default counterpart, although he is also more serious. He is also a Virgo in my player stories instead of a Scorpio.
My replica of STM Vidcund Curious My replica of STM Vidcund Curious which looks identical to the version from AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series, but without the default replacement skins and eyes.

Ajay Loner

Picture: Model: Information:
Ajay Loner's default appearance in The Sims 2 Ajay Loner's default appearance.
Ajay Loner's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Ajay wears an outfit that was introduced with the H&M Fashion Stuff stuff pack. He also has stubble, sideburns, a mop top hairstyle, and default replacement skins and eyes. His appearance in AldoHyde's video 'Sims 2 - Bowling is No Rocket Science (Ajay Loner Strangetown)' is the same, except the short messy hairstyle, lack of sideburns, and his default outfit.
Ajay Loner's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories I created a new version of Ajay Loner for my player stories. This version uses the 1st face template in Create a Sim, but with the mouth corners up via 2 clicks. However this headshot depicts him with the default 1st face template in Create a Sim with no customisations. He now has grey eyes and tweezed eyebrows, instead of brown eyes and combed eyebrows. Ajay originally had the helmet hairstyle in my player stories. He later got his default hairstyle back until I discovered the choppy peak hairstyle Nightlife which he typically wears as of September 2012. In one of my storytelling images, I dressed Ajay up to resemble his STM counterpart, but of course the facial structure, and eye colour remain different, not to mention not having the default replacement skins and eyes that the STM Ajay has, but these retained differences are barely visible, if at all, because Ajay is facing sideways. Ajay is an Aries in my player stories instead of a Gemini.
My replica of STM Ajay Loner My replica of STM Ajay Loner which looks identical to the version from AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series, but without the default replacement skins and eyes.

Erin Beaker

Picture: Model: Information:
Erin Singles' default appearance in The Sims 2 Erin Singles' default appearance.
Erin Beaker's appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Erin has a different hairstyle from her default counterpart, as well as a different top introduced with the Open for Business stuff pack, and default replacement skins and eyes. As with most characters featured in STM, Erin's lifestyle is more science-oriented from the lifestyle of her default counterpart.
Erin Beaker's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Erin's appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But the sim/object detail of the image is set to high, while the sim/object detail of the default image is set to low. In one of my storytelling images, Erin has the same hairstyle as her STM counterpart. In another image, she looks identical to her STM counterpart, but with the default skins and eyes, and a different pair of jeans introduced with H&M Fashion Stuff. Only one of the four images Erin appears in depicts her looking identical to her default counterpart. But her default appearance is also shown through her headshot, and for my in-game personal snapshot of her. Erin's lifestyle is more scientific in my game than the default, which is most likely due to being the younger sister of an inventor. Erin is an Aquarius in my player stories instead of an Aries.

Bella Goth

Picture: Model: Information:
Bella Goth (Pleasantview)'s default appearance in The Sims 2 Bella Goth (Pleasantview)'s default appearance.
Bella Goth (Strangetown)'s default appearance in The Sims 2 Technically this isn't the same Bella Goth as the Pleasantview Bella that was abducted by aliens. As a result, there several differences between the two of them. ST Bella's face uses a different facial structure. In comparison to PV Bella, ST Bella has a shorter, rounder face, the nose is shorter, the eye rotation and outer eyes aren't as customised, and the blush makeup is different. PV Bella has no personality points, making her extremely sloppy, shy, lazy, serious and grouchy, while ST Bella is somewhat active, fairly neat and quite nice, although she is somewhat shy and quite serious. PV Bella is mostly interested in crime, sports and work, while ST Bella is mostly interested in culture, paranormal, health, fashion and entertainment. PV Bella is voiced by Gerri Lawlor, while ST Bella is voiced by Zoe Galvez.
Bella Goth's appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series AldoHyde's STM Bella from the StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series (known as Jane Doe as of 2.02, as Ajay and Erin have yet to find out her real name) is the same as the default PV Bella, although she appears in Strangetown, but with default replacement skins and eyes.
Bella Goth (Pleasantview)'s appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories PV Bella's appearance in my player stories is exactly the same as the default, but the lighting and texture detail of the image is not quite identical. She now has the same personality as she did in the first Sims game, which is the same as ST Bella's personality. Even though PV Bella has a significantly major role in my player stories, we don't really get to see much of her personality.
Bella Goth (Strangetown)'s appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories ST Bella's thumbnail is the same as the default. At one point I decided to make her into a neutral witch, but by that time my gameplay story was already officially completed. I turned her into a neutral witch, after being inspired by the speculation that Bella Goth would be/is featured as a witch in Belladonna Cove, hence the neighbourhood's name. While you can't actually see any visible differences between the default ST Bella, and ST Bella in my player stories, she now has a tiny transparent yellow sparkle behind her right ear which can't be seen easily. The same happens with all Sims that become neutral witches.

Loki Beaker

Picture: Model: Information:
Loki Beaker's default appearance in The Sims 2 Loki Beaker's default appearance.
Loki Beaker's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Loki Beaker (renamed James Windmark as of 2.04) wears a grey ninja suit, due to the circumstances of his role in the StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series. Other than that the only difference between this version and the default is the default replacement skins and eyes. STM Loki is voiced by Stephen Kearin instead of David Boat. In 2.04, Loki wears the long straight hairstyle from University, and no facial hair.
Loki Beaker's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Loki's appearance in my player stories is the same as the default. But the sim/object detail of the image is set to high, while the sim/object detail of the default image is set to low. Loki is also a Scorpio in my player stories instead of a Capricorn.

Circe Beaker

Picture: Model: Information:
Circe Beaker's default appearance in The Sims 2 Circe Beaker's default appearance.
Circe Beaker's overall appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Circe Beaker (renamed Susan Windmark as of 2.04) wears a red ninja suit, due to the circumstances of her role in the StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series. Other than that the only difference between this version and the default is the default replacement skins and eyes. In 2.04, Circe wears the long straight hairstyle that Juliette Capp wears.
Circe Beaker's overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Circe's original appearance in my player stories was the same as the default, until I discovered the deco hairstyle from Open for Business. In all of her appearances with the deco hairstyle, I removed the flower from the hairstyle using Adobe Photoshop CS4. The image displayed here is slightly lighter than the default. Circe is also a Scorpio in my player stories instead of a Capricorn.
My replica of STM Circe Beaker My replica of STM Circe Beaker (renamed Susan Windmark as of 2.04) which looks identical to the version from AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series, but without the default replacement skins and eyes.

General Buzz Grunt

Picture: Model: Information:
General Buzz Grunt's default appearance in The Sims 2 General Buzz Grunt's default appearance. Note that while Buzz is voiced by Stephen Kearin, his prototype was voiced by David Boat.
General Buzz Grunt's civilian appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series Buzz's STM counterpart resembles the default, but with default replacement skins and eyes. Even though the headshot presented here depicts him in his everyday clothes, he is always wearing his military uniform in the episodes he is featured in instead. STM Buzz is voiced by David Boat like the prototype version, instead of Stephen Kearin.
General Buzz Grunt's military appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series Buzz's STM counterpart resembles the default, but with default replacement skins and eyes. He is never seen wearing his everyday clothes in the episodes he is featured in. Instead he is always wearing his military uniform.
General Buzz Grunt's appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Buzz's counterpart in my player stories is identical to the default, but without the face paint. Unlike the default and STM counterparts which typically feature him wearing his military uniform, this version appears in his everyday clothes in all but three of my storytelling images (nine in total). He is also typically referred to by his first name, instead of as The General. Like his default counterpart, Buzz is voiced by Stephen Kearin in my player stories. The sim/object and texture detail in this image is set to high, while the sim/object and texture detail in the default is set to low. Because of this, Buzz may appear looking younger than in the default image. In my player stories Buzz is a Gemini, instead of a Leo.

Pascal Curious

Picture: Model: Information:
Pascal Curious' default appearance in The Sims 2 Pascal Curious' default appearance.
Pascal Curious' appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Pascal has the choppy peak hairstyle from Nightlife instead of the will hairstyle, and default replacement skins and eyes. STM Pascal is voiced by Stephen Kearin instead of David Boat, although he is still voiced by David Boat in the majority of 2.02.
Pascal Curious' overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Pascal's original appearance in my player stories was the same as the default, until I discovered the choppy peak hairstyle from Nightlife. His overall appearance in my player stories is similar to STM Pascal, but without the default replacement skins and eyes. Unlike his pre-made counterpart, Pascal frequently wears his maternity clothes in my player stories even when he's not pregnant. Pascal was originally shown to be less serious and more outgoing in my player stories, though he would eventually regain the neater and more serious side of his character. He is also a Virgo in my player stories instead of a Scorpio.

Lazlo Curious

Picture: Model: Information:
Lazlo Curious' default appearance in The Sims 2 Lazlo Curious' default appearance.
Lazlo Curious' appearance in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Lazlo has the long locks hairstyle from Open for Business instead of the rocker hairstyle, black spectacles instead of green, and default replacement skins and eyes. STM Lazlo is voiced by Stephen Kearin instead of David Boat.
Lazlo Curious' overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Lazlo's original appearance in my player stories was the same as the default, until I discovered the long locks hairstyle from Open for Business. His overall appearance in my player stories is similar to STM Lazlo, but without the default replacement skins and eyes. He was originally going to keep his green spectacles in my player stories, as I hadn't acknowledged the change of spectacles that STM Lazlo wore, and once I noticed, I couldn't resist changing the spectacles myself. Lazlo was originally shown to be more serious and less playful in my player stories, though we don't initially get to see much of Lazlo's character. When we finally get to see more of Lazlo's character, he regained the sloppy and playful sides to his personality. He is also a Libra in my player stories instead of a Sagittarius.

Tycho Curious

Picture: Model: Information:
Unborn Baby Curious' overall appearance in The Sims 2 Unborn Baby Curious' default appearance. Please note that the baby's eye colour is determined at birth and will either be black or dark blue. The baby's gender is also determined at birth, as are its facial features. Note that the image presented here depicts a baby with the hidden 28th alien face template. If Tycho inherits any of Pascal Curious' facial features, those features will be linked to the 2nd face template which is the template all babies that don't use the 28th face template will appear to have, regardless of genetics.
Newton Curious' appearance as a Child in AldoHyde's StrangeTown Monty Machinima Series STM Unborn Baby (named Newton Curious in STM) has grown from a baby into a child. He has the pompadour hairstyle, and dark blue eyes. As with all the characters in AldoHyde's Machinima Series, Newton uses default replacement skins and eyes.
Tycho Curious' prototype appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories Tycho's prototype is the same as his current version in my player stories, but with combed eyebrows, and black eyes. He has also inherited Pascal's full face, and Pollination Technician's eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth and jaw.
Tycho Curious' overall appearance in C.Syde's Player Stories In my player stories Tycho has grown from an unborn baby into a teenager. He has the short gel hairstyle, tweezed eyebrows, hintofred lipstick, white eye shadow, and dark blue eyes. Tycho is a Capricorn Sim with the Popularity Aspiration. He has 9 neat points, 6 outgoing points, 4 active points, 9 playful points, and 7 nice points. Tycho has inherited Pascal's eyes, mouth, and jaw, and PT's full face, eyebrows and nose.
