Cars: The Video Game Opponents in Story Mode

Each story mode race features a different set of characters that compete in each race. In addition to the player, there are several CPU opponents, each one having a different speed level - there will usually be one very fast character, one fast character, one medium character, and one slow character.
Cars: The Video Game - Story Mode Opponents
- The first character on each list is the character the player races as, the other characters are listed in order of what placing they usually finish in, if the player wins.

Notes
- In the Piston Cup Races, the first four opponent cars on the list will always come in the top five, if Lightning comes first. However the opponent cars may not always finish in the same order listed above.
- In Rustbucket Race-O-Rama, the racers are prone to crashes. Because of this, the order the opponents finish is usually random.
- In Monster Truck Mayhem, the racers are prone to crashes. Because of this, the order the opponents finish is sometimes random.
