Universal (career)

The Universal career track is a fanon career made up by C.Syde65 for The Sims 2.

The career reward object is the Orbit Cage. It is awarded at the Town Specialist level and enhances a Sim's ability to improve the Body skill. If The Sims 2: Apartment Life is installed, Jocks are likely to work in this career. College majors associated with the Universal career are Biology and History.

In The Sims 2, Universal Chief does not have a carpool, but flies to and from work, similar to Captain Hero, of the Law Enforcement career track. If the player cancels the Go to Work action, Universal Chief will not be able to go to work unless he or she has access to a car or Apartment Life is installed.

Trivia

• I was originally going to choose Popularity as an aspiration that could have 'Become Universal Chief' as a lifetime want but I decided not to because I thought four aspirations that could have this as a lifetime want was one too many.
• The Popularity or Romance aspirations would probably be better suited to this career than the Pleasure aspiration, since they seem to want to have more active careers. I did this so that Pleasure Sims could have a lifetime want to reach the top of a career that focussed on body skills. That would confirm that Pleasure Sims too would fit in with a more active career.
• This career is well suited to Sims with the Knowledge or Fortune aspiration because the top level requires a lot of skills (though slightly less than Mad Scientist of the Science career), and for Fortune Sims, the top level has a high pay.
